Kristina Ala, BA, MSW, RSW

Owner, Director & Psychotherapist

Kristina holds a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Toronto with a specialization in Health and Mental Health. Kristina's treatment has a priority focus on Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Anxiety, and Depression however effectively treats other issues such as Body Focused Repetitive Behaviours, Relationship Issues, Parent-Child Conflict, Unresolved Caregiver Trauma, and more.

Emma Showers, MSW, RSW, MEd

Associate Psychotherapist

Emma is a Registered Social Worker who holds a Master of Social Work degree from Western University and a Master of Education in Developmental Psychology from the University of Toronto. Emma uses a client-centered and collaborative approach. Emma is currently offering services to children, teens and adults that are experiencing challenges with parenting, trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, navigating life transitions, relationships, and overwhelming emotions.

Provides the gold standard of treatment (Habit Reversal Training) for Body Focused Repetitive Behaviours (BFRB) such as hair pulling, and skin picking in children, teens, and adults

Providing counselling & psychotherapy for Anxiety, Depression, Life Transitions, LGBTQIA2S related issues, Anger, Low Self-Esteem, Grief, Relationship Issues,  and more in children, teens, and adults.
